IIE Global E3 Program member schools do not accept direct applications. Review How to Apply for more information about the application process.

Please Note: The administrative agency (IIE) cannot guarantee placement request. Due to the volume of applications and each host institution's exchange capacity, not all applicants can be guaranteed placement or placed at preferred university. However, all students will be placed at the best institutions IIE has determined are appropriate based on applicants field of study and desired work.

Institutions unable to accept Global E3 inbound students for Semester B 2025:

  • Tohoku University undergraduate JYPE program
  • University of Canterbury
  • University of Michigan
  • University of Michigan - SJTU Joint Institute*
  • University of New South Wales

*Students wishing to apply to UM-SJTU Joint Institute's summer semester (May 8 - August 10) should apply in this cycle.
